LMPD DENIES ANY INVOLVEMENT!!!

It has come to our attention that your organization is reporting about an incident which may have occurred at the NRA Convention in Louisville the weekend of May 16-18 whereby it is alleged that Louisville Metro Police officers assaulted and violated the constitutional rights of members of your organization. Please be advised that a preliminary review of the incident showed no involvement in that incident by Louisville Metro Police Department officers. It is our understanding that the incident in question involved security officers from a different organization not affiliated with the Louisville Metro Police Department. Our suggestion is for you to contact the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center for further clarification as to the security detail and officers assigned to that particular incident. We would appreciate your correction to the report on your website.
